My Princesses

It didn't take long for Amelia to teach Livvy all about how to be a princess. Now Livvy is in costume almost everywhere we go. She usually gets dressed by herself, but it is not unusual to hear cries of desperation coming from her room when her head is stuck inside of some article of clothing.

Chef Caleb

Caleb is not in pain, he is saying "cheese" with all his might. I cannot seem to convince him to abandon his firm belief that saying cheese is the only way to take a proper picture. Anyhow, my sweet Caleb is posing in front of the meal he created all by himself. He decided to make dinner for the family for a Valentine's gift. We feasted on quesadilla's, bean with bacon soup, yogurt, carrots, and juice. He even made blueberry muffins for dessert. He is getting so big!

Christmas

Spence Comes Home!!

We were all so happy to see Spence, even if we did have to sit in the airport for 3 hours due to flight delays and lost luggage. As you can see, he came home with a new look. We all had fun helping him get cleaned up.

Amelia's Dance Class

Amelia's dance class put on a little show for the parents. This video makes me laugh because it is the story of my life these days as I drag the trio everywhere I go. You can hear whines from both of my children (we were all trying to share one seat) before I finally gave up on video. However, there is a brief moment when you can see Amelia's adorable tap dance. Amelia is the blondie with a bun third person in. The pictures (much simpler to take than video
when juggling children) shows the ballet portion of the class.

Tiger Scouts

Caleb, my little Tiger Scout, received his Bobcat merit badge. Apparently, this is a big deal and includes some symbolic face painting. Caleb was very proud. He and his buddy Jacob received their awards on the same night.

Laughs with Livvy

Livvy, who is turning out to be as feminine as Amelia, opened up a large, new, and expensive jar of aquaphor. She worked very hard to beautify every inch of her body. Most of it ended up in her hair. She came to show me, so proud of her accomplishment, saying "Mommy, see pretty." It was a mess to say the least, and yet another of those parenting moments when all you can do is choose whether to laugh or cry. With Livvy's proud grin and globs of goop dripping off her face it was easy to see the humor in the situation. After giving her a bath and scraping out as much of the aquaphor from her head as I could, she was still a mess. That is when I took these pictures. We had a lot of fun with her hair which took 2 days and several baths to get back to normal.
