New Scooters

I bought the girls "new" scooters at a garage sale, and Caleb recently got a new bike for his birthday. They were anxious to show off their new toys. This is right after I gave the scooters to them, so they are just learning. You should see Livvy zipping along now, still yelling "faster."

This is really the same thing, my favorite has Livvy cheering her big sister along. I had to show this one to include Caleb, but I couldn't skip the other one either.

Gator Fest

The children had a great time at the carnival type atmosphere of Gatorfest. Mom was very tired after trying to keep track of them all, but she had a great time too. Even Livvy had a blast. Her favorite part was the train ride (which we did several times) and the jumping. The children had their hair painted at Gatorfest and are doing their best to look like scary monsters.
A giant "bouncy" version of twister. Go Caleb!
As I said, Livvy loves jumping. And surprisingly, she was good at taking turns and getting off at the end of her turn.

What is a carnival without the cotton candy? They explained the science behind it all, but I don't remember. Just ask Caleb, I'm sure he remembers. He remembers everything.

Caleb's Birthday

Caleb had a Space Adventure party. After the Space rangers had completed all of their missions, they ate pizza and birthday cake. If you don't recognize Caleb, he is the screaming child on the right with the red glasses (protective eyewear for viewing the planet Mars). Most of the pictures didn't work, they were deleted somehow. I have no idea what happened to our camera, it just swallowed a bunch of our pictures.

Fun With Daddy

We had a lot of fun when Spence came home for a few weeks in March. The boys went fishing and Caleb caught his first fish! Unfortunatley most of the pictures got deleted. The only one remaining is this one after they had gutted the fish. Luckily the happy memories remain.

Kite flying is always fun. Caleb was so exited that he got the kite in the air all by himself. Even the girls had to give it a try.
Daddy and Amelia planted some flower beds for Amelia's playhouse. Amelia picked everything out herself and she waters them so carefully to take care of "Daddy's flowers."

We went to a Revolutionary War Battlefield in a town named Ninety-Six. Even the children were fascinated by the history. Happy memories. Thanks Spence!
