The winner! I am holding my medal in my right hand (You'll have to excuse my boasting, I've never won anything before).

Here is another great view of my medal.

I had so much fun doing this sprint triathlon, I think this could be addicting. The distances were not very far, it was only a 500 meter swim, 12 mile bike ride and 5K run, but I am still proud of myself. I finished better than expected (even with my slow transition times). With a time of 1hr 18min and 3 secomds, I was first place in the novice group, fourth in my age group and twenty fourth over all. There were four hundred in the race, half of them women and I can't wait to do another one.

Congrats!!!! That is seriously SO cool! You did so amazing too! I can't believe it...actually, I can totally believe it but I honestly don't know how you find the time to do all that you do! You are amazing and I want to be like you!!! I can't wait to see you in a few days!
Wow Sarah, that is cool. You have good reason to boast, I know I would!
Way to go!!!! You should be proud of yourself. I'm incredibly impressed. I'd love to do that sometime.
Now THAT is something to write home about Sarah! I can't believe you did a triathlon! Very impressive. It takes a ton of work (and courage and time and tenacity etc, etc) to do something like that. I will be telling everyone that my sister took first place in the novice category. Wow.
You go girl- I am so proud of you! I can't believe you didn't train. I can't wait to see what you can do when you actually work at it.
